I didn't know my father was sick - Daasebre Gyamenah's daughter

Daughter of Daasebre Gyamenah has revealed she did not know her father was sick—and therefore was deeply shocked when she heard he had died.

According to her, “When I heard that he had died, I was shocked because I didn’t know he was ill.”


“So I called home and they said I should come join the family in this gathering where we are all trying to process the information,” she told Kojo Ansah, a journalist in the Eastern Region.

About her father, she had this to say:
“My father was a good man and I will miss him. He always came around when we had family gathering and he would perform all the time. I will remember him for his performances especially. Those will remain fresh in my memory.”
