Why Prostitution Should Be Legalized In Kenya.

Prostitution should be made legal and affordable to all Kenyan men. I repeat, serikali should let women sell their bodies in a well regulated capacity. Before anger creates wrinkles all over your face, give young Etemesi a chance to explain okay?  Legalized prostitution will help boost economic growth in so many ways. But I’ll narrow it down to three because I am considerate to all the humans that have a short attention span.

First of all, young single men will stop focusing on chasing girls all the time. They shall alternatively channel all their efforts into pursuing profitable business ventures. Instead of worrying why Moraa isn’t replying to my texts, a man like me shall be focused on creating the next big app or discovering Penicillin. Oh wait. Penicillin was already discovered many decades ago by Alexander Flemming. How about inventing the cure for fatness? That’s right. We are facing a real challenge. A lot of young thirsty men (like me) waste so much time chasing chicks instead of trying to make money. And what’s the point of chasing girls? To get sex
If sex is easily available to you, then you won’t have to waste so much time pursuing it. You simply work all day then in the evening, you go buy your sukuma wiki, meat and grab a prostitute for the night, or prostitutes if you prefer quantity. Call girl shops ought to be all over and easily accessible just like kiosks. You simply pass by one and say “Nipatie Njeri wawili”.  Then you go home and enjoy. And in case she takes off her clothes and you happen to not like what you see, you can take her back and say “Huyu hajaiva vizuri. Hebu nibadilishie unipatie mwingine.”
Stop right there feminist. I can figure out what you are thinking. Something along the lines of, “What is this guy saying? Does he want men to be lazy when it comes to chasing women?” No way. The truth is, a man who isn’t desperate for sex is a great man. He won’t put women as a pedestal . Think of celebrities and great players. They get so much sex hence they are never desperate. Women know that these men get laid all the time but they still fall for them and blow up their phones. That’s because they are aware of the fact that these men won’t do the chasing. They are bosses. They are already getting what every man wants.
Widespread prostitution will also create plenty of employment opportunities for women. We’ll no longer have a generation of women that depend on men for funding. Even women with regular jobs can do ‘lungula selling’ as a side hustle so long as they acquire a license. When you meet a chick you like, you just do the King Kaka line on her and ask , “Besha Shigana?”. Hakuna story mob. Unemployment rates among women will be close to zero. Why stay without a job when you have the tools and ready customers?
After the legalization of prostitution, the taxation derived from the profession will definitely go a long way in escalating government revenue. Imagine over 20 million women getting taxed whenever they have sex.  That’s huge. The dollar might soon be equal to the shilling in value. Trust me, I studied economics in school so I know how possible that is. Let the government share in the revenue but otherwise stay out of the affairs of consenting adults.
It’s high time we legalize and regulate this trade even if a lot of people have ethical problems with it. After all, we legalize and regulate a ton of commerce that’s morally controversial – like tobacco and sex between cousins. Let’s not be hypocrites.
Sex work can be very profitable for women, and many women may enjoy work that allows them to creatively express their sexuality. Sex work can allow human beings a way to safely explore their sexual desires in ways they cannot through the current social norm of heterosexual, monogamous relationships. The sex work industry and its workers need not be chastised by a society that clings to puritan ideals of what is “moral”.
Prostitution is not something which is immoral, and should not be considered as something against the society. There is a void for sex and physical satisfaction which will remain till the end of mankind. Instead, sex industry should be regulated and made a respectful occupation. The industry was born because there was and is, a demand. Not regulating it will only lead to black marketing and further crimes against women.
