Must Read....Man walks 260km from Kumasi to Accra for charity

Ruben G. Bekoe a rare Ghanaian character is walking 260km from Kumasi to Accra to raise 50000GH for charity.

The walk is to honour his late mother who lost the life battle to Cancer and also to create the awareness and raise money to diagnose children living with cancer with no cost to their parents. The money when raised will be used to fund a restocked cancer unit in the Okomfo Anokye Teaching Hospital.

The walk obviously is a record and the first of its kind but rather on the low. This wired character has been engaging in stuffs like this.

Last year he embarked on a four months cycling adventure touring the 10 regions in Ghana to raise money for the Ghana Cleft Foundation. An out fit that help children with cleft deformities.

The 22 year old young man began his journey on Monday, 1st August. 3days down the line and he has covered 30 kilometers with a 9 kilometer target to be completed on the third day which will bring him to Anyinam.

He gives live feeds of his journey on his Twitter Timeline @rgbekoe with a #w4charity. He uses google map for his directions and to check his distances walked.

Reuben Bekoe  depends on a tent he has on him for shelter at night and feeds mostly of bread through his journey.

Support him by donating via mobile money to 0571500010 to and use the #W4charity or tweet at him @rgbekoe to make this amazing young man realize his dream.
You can also visit the kwame Nkrumah mausoleum to see the bicycle he used for his last year adventure.
