Court review Wisa's bail conditions

 An Accra Circuit Court has ordered Eugene Ashe, aka Wisa, a hip life artiste who is being tried for allegedly displaying his penis on stage, to deposit GH₡ 5,000.00 as security deposit for his bail.The order came after the court reviewed his bail condition following his non-appearance in court for over two months.

According to the court Wisa’s non-appearance in court for over two months and revised his bail conditions.He was earlier on granted GH₡ 8,000.00 with one surety by the Court presided over by Mrs Abena Oppong Adjin-Doku.

When sitting resumed today prosecuting Inspector Judith B. Asante said  the accused  had “jumped bail” and failed to appear in court.

According to her Wisa should be remanded for him to respect the court.

Wisa’s counsel Mr Jerry Avernogbor said that at the last sitting, his client and his relations came to his office and they made some revelations.

According to him it would be difficult to make those revelations open court.

Counsel, said initially, he wondered why his client would run away from court because his case was not about murder or rape.

The group parted ways with the radio and television presenter some time ago, but has disclosed there was no disagreement between them.

Speaking on Entertainment Capital on Accra100.5FM, 4x4 told host DJ Premier: “Jay Foley was playing the role of a manager but there was no pen on paper. He started his breast cancer awareness campaign a year two years ago after losing his mum to breast cancer. He has breast cancer awareness foundation called the Treasure Motherhood Foundation ( *TMF*). And he is he head of the Breast Cancer Awareness Team Ghana, a team under (TMF).

Due to this family history, he has to do a Lumpectomy ( a surgery to remove lump from a breast) at Peace and Love Hospital, Kumasi.
